We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our friends and family for their support over the years. We are so grateful to have such wonderful people around us and we can’t wait to share our special day with everybody!
A special thanks goes out to our Parents who have worked hard to raise us and are the reason we are able to celebrate with everybody. We love you!
Over the next few days Tucker stayed with me in the hospital by my side as they instructed us on what Type 1 diabetes is. I didn’t quite get it, I mean how could I have diabetes?! I go to the gym, run, eat healthy, there must be some mistake. No mistake they told me, my immune system had attacked my pancreas and I must take insulin every single day for the rest of my life or I’ll die. I remember telling Tucker that we had only been dating for only 6 months or so and he didn’t sign up for this. I mean if he stayed with me he’d have to deal with all of my medical issues. The ridiculous medical costs of insulin and medical supplies. The list goes on. He could have easily just said that it’s too much for him and moved on but he didn’t. He was willing to go through this with me. He was willing to make so many sacrifices for me and that’s when I absolutely knew that he was the one that I’ll be spending the rest of my life with. One year after that Tucker proposed and I know that we still have so much more ahead of us. Getting married is one of the first steps in our journey together. I’m so excited for what’s yet to come!
I met Timmy for the first time in person for our first date on March 16th, 2017 after connecting online. At the time I was living in Worthington and Timmy was living in Rochester and working in Owatonna; so we decided to meet roughly halfway which happened to be Mankato. We decided to meet for dinner at Olives. I recall being smitten with him before we even met; so I brought him a rose :) Turns out he was thinking along the same lines because he brought me a “digital rose” with a device that made a picture of a rose pop up on my phone. The dinner turned into great conversation and the great conversation led us to ice cream at Mom and Pop’s ice cream place and then we ended the night by having coffee at a bar. The company was good at the bar but I’m pretty sure the coffee was 15 hours old because we definitely saw him stick our cups in the microwave.
After that fateful first date we stayed in close contact though we were many miles apart. Timmy eventually met my friends and family; they couldn’t help but to love him of course! We eventually started seeing each other every weekend and would alternate meeting in Worthington or Rochester. Things unfolded from there in a very natural and easy way; leading up to now. Every day that I have been with Timmy has been wonderful! Since our first date we have gone on my adventures including camping with my family at Lake Shetek in SW MN, visiting Itasca State Park, visiting Chicago and moving to Chaska MN together!
Many people like to ask me when I knew that he was “the one,” so I’ll explain that here. I recall Timmy saying from very early “I’m going to marry you someday!” I would always laugh him off and say something about how we have plenty of time to figure that out. The event that helped me realize that Timmy was to be my life partner was a near death experience. We planned a long camping weekend with my family for MEA in October of 2017; Timmy even took off work for the vacation. Timmy was feeling sick, but stuck it out and came to the camper at Lake Shetek. Eventually we decided to go back to Worthington because he wasn’t getting better. THEN, we ended up at the ER and found out that he had Type 1 Diabetes and was quite close to falling into a coma. Talk about some unexpected news! There wasn’t a second of doubt for me, I stayed with him in the hospital and learned with him about this new condition. It wasn’t until a number of months later that I looked back on those days and realized that was when I knew that I would never leave his side. That is why I decided to propose to him at the campground almost exactly 1 year from that fateful day; I wanted that to symbolize a day of positive change!
I am so excited to start the next chapter of my life with Timmy by my side. We are excited to see the world and, most importantly, start a family together!
We have 2 registries:
You will notice that there aren’t a lot of “things” listed on our registries. There are a few reasons for this. One reason is that we simply have a lot of things that one would typically find on a registry already. However, we still understand that you may want to support us in our celebration of our union! The biggest way that you can help us is by helping us start an adoption fund. We have decided that we want to embark in the challenging, yet rewarding journey of parenting together. However, you may have noticed that it will be rather...err...difficult for us to conceive a child of our own, so we have decided that adoption will be a good path for us! We know it won’t be easy or cheap, but with the support of our loved ones we know that anything is possible :)
Tent and Adoption Fund
If you would prefer to contribute to the Adoption Fund by sending it to us or bringing it in person; that is okay too :)

Q: Do we have to do the traditional formal pictures?
A: No, absolutely not! Our style is genuine, and that is what makes us different. Though formals are nice, it is the shots with raw emotion, the ones we get when our couples don't know we are photographing them, that people fall in love with.
Q: Do I really have to wait 4 weeks to get my images after my wedding day? 1 month seems a bit long….
A: We say that to allow cushion just in case of emergencies. In most cases, you will receive your images in less than 4 weeks.
Q: I often hear that couples regret not investing in a good photographer on their wedding day. Tell me why this is?
A: It is soo very important to invest in your wedding photography. It is key to know, that this will be the only means to any memory that you will have, that is a true representation of how beautiful the day was. Doing your research, and asking the right questions is very important. You hear time and time again, people regretting not investing in a good photographer. You never hear someone regret spending too much on a photographer!
We want our couples to be very confident in their choice of photographer. It is not only important make sure our styles match, but to also make sure our personalities match as well! Please contact us to set up a wedding consultation, free of charge. Here we can get to know one another, answer any questions you have, and show you our latest wedding images and products.
Vaida is Sandra’s older (and wiser) sister. The two met on a cold night on February 12, 1995 in Kaunas, Lithuania. For 23 years Sandra has looked up to her older sister and can’t wait to finally share marriage stories with her. Vaida has given Sandra an adorable Nephew Liam who will also make an appearance at the wedding.
Fun Fact: Sandra often would take clothes out of Vaida’s closet after she had left for school.
Alyssa and Sandra became friends while competing for the Orland Park Royal Twisters gymnastics team. After surviving 15 coaches in 3 years, they have been able to keep their long distance friendship alive through all these years!
Fun Fact: Marshall once surprised Sandra by having Alyssa fly in for a weekend to visit Minnesota!
Ruta and Sandra have been friends since they both moved to the U.S. The two friends had more sleepovers than they can count. Sandra once even switched to a different teacher in Lithuanian School just so the two can be in the same classroom.
Fun Fact: One time Sandra (accidently) lit Ruta’s purse on fire during a game on Christmas Day.
Anna and Sandra met when Anna joined the high school gymnastics team. The two friends spent many nights driving around the block jamming to Drake and Demi Lovato. If they weren’t at one another’s house watching the Chicago Blackhawks, the two were exploring downtown Chicago creating memories as the Adventures of Vic and Immigrant.
Fun Fact: They once had an entire notebook filled with “You Know You’re a Rebel When” quotes that included things like not starting your homework until 6pm and having dessert before dinner.
Sophie and Sandra were assigned as roommates their first year at the University of Minnesota after they both completed their paperwork late. The two roomies spent countless nights eating Domino’s Pizza and Insomnia Cookies, sometimes even both in one night.
Fun Fact: Sophie was the first of Sandra’s friend to meet Marshall.
Jade and Sandra were both in the professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi at the University of Minnesota. Jade was designated as Sandra’s Little Bro. The two knew they were a match made in heaven when they discovered their bond of love for cats and Rainforest Cafe.
Fun Fact: Marshall once took Jade home on his moped when she had the flu (what a gentleman).
Marshall and Morgan could not be more different in interests and friend groups to this day. Morgan was always interested in Pokemon and animals while Marshall was always at a sporting event or collecting hockey cards. One main common thing they share is DNA and the fact Morgan could beat the living crap out of Marshall. The one thing Marshall has on Morgan is Marshall got a Bachelor's degree in 5 years and Morgan is still going strong in the attempt to make it a 6+ year plan. He is also someone to show you how to do the “10 Second Challenge,” very impressive.
Fun Fact: Marshall has convinced Morgan to go down laundry chutes and fit in freezers growing up. Talk about someone to look up to when you’re going down or need to cool off.
A.k.a. BIG MIKE. Micah and Marshall have known eachother since baseball when they were really young but their friendship really took off in high school. Big Mike will be the dance floor captain at the wedding as Micah hasn’t seen a dance floor he hasn’t enjoyed.
Fun Fact: Big Mike sold Marshall a pair of Jordans in high school so he could fit in on the Church League team.
Grant and Marshall became friends through Ben in high school and the friendship is still going on. Grant is by far the biggest nerd out of the group and writes a killer power rankings for the website Marshall created for their Fantasy Football League. Grant was also the one that got stuck hosting everyone on weekend nights while playing Rock Band. Even though they never let Marshall play in the band he really enjoyed the time. In high school, Grant was the #3 ranked drummer in the world on Rock Band.
Fun Fact: Grant and Marshall share a couple random things like wearing the same number in sports in high school (22), middle name, and the same birthday (12/17/92).
A.K.A The Hooded Bandit or Skittles. Rustad and Marshall go all the way back to 10 year old baseball where he was the crafty Lefty and Marshall was the chubby first baseman. Rustad also hit his first homerun before Marshall did by hitting it off the top of the fence and rolling over to touch them all. Rusty can be found on the dance floor with probably the best beard at the event.
Fun Fact: Rustad once threw Marshall into a wall at Grant’s place to show off his superior strength. Grant then started beating on Marshall for reasons we still do not know.
A.KA. Sunshine or The Rat. Marshall and Brooks were teammates playing baseball from the day Marshall started in Moorhead to their devastating loss to Fergus in the District Final of Legion Ball shortly before Marshall headed to New Mexico. On the last day of football practice, Brooks decided to blindside Marshall on kickoff. He then ran away doing his signature laugh while leaving Marshall in disbelief.
Fun Fact: Brooks and Marshall were battery mates in Marshall’s first game in Moorhead.
Connor is a founding member of the DOrti Club started in High School. Connor and Marshall went to the same elementary school and spent many days at Newman Outdoor Field batboying for the NDSU Baseball Team. Marshall transferred to Moorhead and Connor ended up at Detroit Lakes but the two still managed to stay friends. Everytime Marshall was in DL he would stay with Connor, and then Sheila (Connor’s Mom) would make a killer breakfast in the morning.
Fun Fact: Connor went against Marshall and the catcher (Kirk, Connor’s Brother) in high school and kept throwing Marshall stupid curveballs to make him look like an idiot.
Ben and Marshall go way back to the youth hockey days. Stein was Marshall’s teammate when they took 3rd at the Fargo Flyer Invitational in a dramatic Triple Overtime victory over Eden Prairie. Stein introduced Marshall to a lot of the Moorhead kids when he made the full time switch from DGF in 5th grade. In 2015 Marshall and the guys said their final goodbye to Stein after a 2.5 year battle with cancer. Ben might not be there in person, but we know he will be there in spirit.
Fun Fact: Ben was the first person to know who Sandra was when Marshall first met her.
A.K.A. Dilly Bop. Dylan transferred to Moorhead as a 9th grader and became good friends with Marshall due to their baseball interest. Their relationship grew and became really close to the point where Dylan said if Marshall didn’t marry Sandra he would. Good thing for Sandra she got stuck with Marshall instead of THE Dilly Bop.
Fun Fact: Marshall burned Dylan for a long touchdown in high school during practice. Something Dylan to this day has never lived down and probably never will.
Alan and Marshall met in the summer of 2013 at a softball tournament in southern MN through a mutual friend. Alan and his wife Bri moved into the same building Marshall and Sandra lived in last summer. They share common interests like beer and rowing the boat with PJ Fleck.
Fun Fact: Alan sang Marshall the greatest rendition of Happy Birthday on Marshall’s 25th birthday. Alan also has a dog, Bella, who Nook is in love with.
Kyle and Marshall were youth football teammates and became friends through Ben later on in High School. Kyle was following his hockey dream in Canada while everyone else was at Moorhead High so when he would come home they would get to know eachother better. Kyle will probably have the best head of hair at the wedding, someone at Head and Shoulders should look into for their next commercial.
Fun Fact: Kyle showed Marshall the “Ice Auger” which he has used multiple times in life to showcase his diverse dance catalog.
A.K.A Coach. Strand and Marshall played youth hockey against each other but both were very into high school athletics when they were not on the teams. Strand was actually the only one in the core friend group that was a D1 athlete so that is something to be proud of for sure.
Fun Fact: Strand was Marshall’s basketball coach for two years in high school. Strand ran a tight ship and Marshall spent most of the time on the bench trying to figure out the rules as throwing checks in the lane were not acceptable evidently.
Marshall’s youngest cousin on his Mom’s side and a big fan of watermelon and Minnie Mouse. Marshall is the oldest on that side of the family so he is told that a lot of things that happened when he was born happened with Evelyn as well. Must be the fact they knew who the best looking ones of the family are.
Sandra has known Elsie since she was 2 months old. Sandra would come every Friday morning to watch over Elsie while her parents were at work. Elsie has now grown to love anything Princesses and Minnie Mouse.
Harry is Elsie’s twin brother. Sandra also babysat Harry and watched A LOT of Sesame Street with him. At 2 years old, Harry now loves puzzles and trucks.
Liam is Sandra’s favorite (and only) nephew. He dramatically graced the world with his presence on September 13, 2018. Unless he’s hungry, you will always find a smile on his face (just like his Aunt).
Brianna and Sandra met while living at Hello Apartments. The two spent many nights with Nook and Bella in the dog park (sometimes even with a glass of wine in hand). They’ve shared many wedding ideas together as Brianna and Alan got married on May 18, 2019!
Fun Fact: Marshall and Sandra visited Brianna and Alan in North Carolina for NYE 2018.
